Why choose a Forest School?

Forest Schools build confidence & self-awareness

A Forest School is an individual, inspirational and innovative approach to outdoor play. At Surrey Hills Forest School our aim is to inspire and motivate intrinsic learners through positive, achievable experiences. By embracing these experiences, the children become more confident and self-aware, whilst learning about boundaries, both physical and social. This in turn enables the children to use their built-in ability to challenge their own understanding of risk.

TIME & SPACE TO PLAY & LEARN

At Surrey Hills Forest School, we achieve this by allowing the children the time and space to play, whilst giving them a platform to learn new skills, with planned and risk assessed activities individually tailored to the children’s interests. All tools are adult sized and supervised by trained staff.
