Birtley Estate is set within 48 acres of beautiful Surrey Hills countryside, made up of a cider orchard, formal gardens and a lake stocked with Brown trout. Records for the estate go back to the 12th century.
Surrey Hills Forest School is lucky to have permission to use the woodland and surrounding grounds for an Outdoor Pre-School. As part of the agreement with the owners of the Estate the Pre-School will regularly visit the residents of the onsite care home.
One acre of grass and woodland, in the centre of a farm. Perfect for Forest School activities and experiencing the day-to-day activities of a working farm.
Entrance via metal gate in hedge by roundabout (as shown).
